We visited Jorien's grand parents in Germany in November. We stayed close to Straubing, and managed to also do some nice day trips.
Regensburg is the biggest city in this part of Germany. You can play while mummy is shopping; I tried it as well.

Straubing has a nice small Zoo!
We tried to visit Jorien's grand parents every day, and they always prepared a lovely meal whenever we visited. Joakim and Tobias really liked the German dishes (and we of course too).
Straubing is small, but pretty nice too!
Our holiday apartment had a nice fire place, and every one helped making the fire.
