Tobias started nursery in Italy. Here, young children have an 'insertion period' to get used to their new environment. It may take up to a couple of weeks: first they go for one hour with one of their parents, then a bit longer, then you try to leave them there etc. Fortunately Tobias seemed to enjoy it and was very smiley (as usual!) and interested in the other babies / toddlers. Most kids in his group were the same age or slightly older.
Joakim is going to school already. Initially one of us had to stay with him and play with toys so he could get used to his new school. Joakim was very excited about going to school, and he understands most things since the teachers speak some English and say crucial messages in both languages.
The school also provides after school care. Most of the time it is nice weather!

XX
