Our new car: a Citroen Xsara diesel from 2001. It had a mileage of only 75.000 km so despite its age we're hopeful that it will last us a little while!
Changing the name of the owner on the car's documents (something that is free in the UK) costs an insane amount of money in Italy. We had to pay 500 euro - I almost passed out. So, we're keeping this car until the end of our lives.
The arrival of the new car prompted some manly car cleaning activity - also because we wanted to return the car that we've been borrowing in pristine condition.
