One day we drove to Monte Zugna, one of the mountains closest to Rovereto, where we had a picnic and walked around in this 'Sound of Music'-like landscape.

It is difficult to understand that this beautiful landscape was a battleground during the first world war. Trenches and other buildings are still mostly intact.
